You cannot have a clean house if you have animals
The living room was all clean and tidy. What do I yell as I walk past the doorway half an hour ago?
WHO MADE THAT MESS ON THE CARPET?!
Right in the most visible spot from the front door.

Mum was talking about getting a kind of gate/fence to go across the archway, so we could actually have a decent rug in there. I thought that was a very good idea. Now, even more so.
*glares at animals* It's a good thing I love you lot.
