Twelfth Night

Christmas decorations taken down. *sadface* Although we haven't dismantled the Christmas tree yet, everything else is in boxes.

Getting my (upper) wisdom teeth out tomorrow. It's supposed to be a straightforward extraction, so minimal recovery time - I hope. The wisdom teeth aren't causing any problems at the moment but they're growing more sideways than down and my dentist thinks they are likely to cause problems in the future. Given all the expensive and successful treatment she's done over the last twelve months to correct my jaw alignment, TMJ syndrome and chronic tension headaches, I'm inclined to listen.

I get ice-cream, yes?

The end Yule is always sad! Luckily it won't happen until next week here in Sweden :-)

Eeeep! I hope everything will go (has gone?) very well!

(Thank you! I made a whole bunch of Yule icons back in late November.)

Well, it depends. Advent lights usually goes up when December starts or at least by the second Sunday of Advent. Some people start putting up Yule decorations by Lucia (13 December) but I think most wait until the day before Yule Eve. This year I tried to get most of it up before Yule Eve but didn't quite manage it so I'd to decorate my tree on Yule Eve itself. (Yule Eve is the big day here, not Yule Day. Yule Day is basically for enjoying your presents and eating leftovers :-) Also, Yule traditionally ends on 13 January.

I hope you weren't in too much pain and that you're feeling alright today.
