Iz too hot

And it's supposed to be 34C tomorrow with high humidity. Urgh.
On the bright side (or the nicely shadowed side) the migraine hangover is pretty much gone. *fingers crossed* I finished The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes and quite enjoyed them. Holmes seems less of an ass in these (and I realised where the idea of Holmes as a slob occurred. Presumably in his early days of sharing a place with Watson he made an effort so as not to scare him off.) However while I found the stories entertaining, few struck me as particularly memorable - but that could just be my brain feeling lethargic in the heat (it can be hard to tell sometimes.) Anyway, the local library has The Return Of Sherlock Holmes so I'll try to borrow that tomorrow.

Salads! It is the weather for salads. A lovely breakfast salad. A rocket and apple salad. But if you include roasting as part of the preparation for a summer salad I will laugh (and toast the walnuts in a frying pan.)
