The Mercy books have their flaws (large number of female characters have been/are sexually assaulted; lack of female friendships, although I love Mercy's relationship with teenage Jesse; macho werewolf culture) but overall, I really enjoy them, especially the books that focus on the fae, rather than vampires (they alternate.) I usually don't like 1st person POV but I like it here. The Alpha and Omega books are 3rd person, similar problems - but I love the books.
