venetia_sassyStorm, some rain, a cool breeze, and the temperature had dropped after days of 40+C. I'll take this blessed cool as an auspicious start to the new year and not think about the weather forecast!
As it happens, I'm planning to see Florence + The Machine on Australia Day. I'll take storms over another heatwave!
