That was new

I had never been slobbered on by a giraffe before today. Dogs, yes, giraffes, no. *is amused*

They really are gorgeous creatures.

(The dogs were fascinated when we got home.)

Lions and tigers and snow leopards, zebras, binturongs, otters and meerkats and many more, so many beautiful birds and a stunning free flight bird show against what has to be one of the best harbour views in Sydney. The weather was absolutely perfect the whole day.

It was a good day!

And then I dozed off in the car coming home and we indulged ourselves with pizza and gelato from a quite excellent local pizzeria.

I think I'll sleep well tonight. And try for some details tomorrow.
