New computer!
Jan. 1st, 2014 11:58 pmPosting from my new laptop which so far seems to be working fine - although I keep wanting to use it as a touchscreen which it is not. I've never had a touchscreen so why the urge?
(The other laptops I was looking at did have a touchscreen but when I mentioned my price range to the assistant she led me straight to another one and said, "This is the best value for the price." Her opinion of touchscreens was basically, "Eh, it's a gimmick." This has better speed and storage, I'm still finding the wrist rest a bit rough but otherwise, it's going well. I think my hands are going to cramp soon though.)
Otherwise, today was quiet, resting up for the high heat of tomorrow. We took a walk with the dogs after they had a good romp around the garden - they're really playing together now!
Still thinking about end-of-year wrap up but wanted to try setting up the laptop first.
