The dogs greeted Mum with wild enthusiasm.

Eventually they noticed I was there as well and they gave me a sniff. Thank you, darlings, I missed you too.

It was a marvelous holiday, there was spectacular scenery, 95% excellent, friendly service all around, we ate some absolutely splendid food, I went through an entire box of prescription headache pills and I don't think I'm going to move far from my bed for a few days at least!

I hope to manage a write-up later (I want to remember all of it!) but in the meantime ...

A TIGER LICKED MY HAND!!!  A tiger! I fed him chicken necks and scratched his paws! And he licked my hand!!!

It turned out so well, I'm delighted!

I plan to! I've been resting but in another day or so, I think I'll start posting about it. And I will babble about the tiger at great length because he was awesome.
