2011 Year In Review aka the one where you post the first line from the first post you made each month:
January: May it be a better year than the last! (Oh please. No more cancer, please.)
February: I have another nephew!
March: I didn't read that much this month.
April: I have trimmed my hair for the first time!
May: I didn't do all that much in April thanks to exhaustion/reaction but I did manage to read a decent amount of non-fiction.
June: When our dalmatian was a few months old, we had a party for my brother's 21st.
July: I FAIL COMPLETELY at making flaky butter pastry.
August: There was an article in this weekend's Herald about Game of Thrones (which I still haven't seen because while it is now screening here, it's on pay TV. Which I do not have and do not want. DVDs please!)
September: I woke up with a nasty headache and knew it wasn't one I could ignore until I went back to sleep, so I got up to take some pills and decided I might as well stay up.
October: I think I'm recovered.
November: The dogs greeted Mum with wild enthusiasm.
December: Did you know there is an excellent way to neutralise dog fart odour?
Okay, the last one cracks me up. Let's see, books, cooking, dogs, feeling like hell ... not a lot of surprises there! But overall, I'm better at posting regularly than I used to be. Now, if I can just keep up with commenting ...
And no more cancer for Mum. That's a good aspect to the year!
