Fandom Snowflake Challenge - Day 11

I woke up this morning and went "... huh. I feel alive again!" Okay, the headache returned last night with a vengeance and I didn't fall asleep until 8:30a.m. or wake up until 5p.m. but when I woke up I felt better. Still headache-y but far more alert. I immediately wanted to do All The Things and had to remind myself that doing so would render me unable to do Anything At All the next day.
When I have a bad week like this, I try to just deal with it but part of me is always going, oh fuck, is it a relapse, what did I do, oh fuck, oh fuck, it's not getting better, is this my new normal, oh fuck, was this already my normal and I was just being delusional, oh fuck.
And then I woke up today and felt better. And I was very relieved.

On a lighter note:
Day 11
In your own space, ask for recs. Something as simple as "I like XYZ (where XYZ is a kink, a pairing, a trope, etc) - please rec me some."
Any recs for Bandom genderswap? (Not sexswap.) ETA: Didn't mean to be confusing! I meant I'd like 'always-a-girl', not 'woke-up-a-girl' recs. This masterlist led me to some fantastic fics but it hasn't been updated since 2008. So if you know of something more recent, that would be excellent! MCR is my main preference for this but other bands welcome.

Date: 2012-01-16 08:06 pm (UTC)If I understand stepps right that would mean what I usually call always-a-girl (or always-a-boy) right? It's not a trope that I'm interested in at all so I don't have any recs for you I'm afraid.

Date: 2012-01-17 08:18 am (UTC)Yes, I meant always-a-girl as opposed to woke-up-a-girl. *facepalm* Didn't mean to be confusing! In some fandoms I have zero interest in it but in Bandom ...

Date: 2012-01-17 06:01 am (UTC)Always-a-girl (or boy in case of Victoria/Bebe/The Like/etc?)
or
fic in which someone with a certain set of genitals wakes up with different genitals, regardless of what sexuality they consider themselves to be, and whether they're cisgendered or trans?
Because I can probably scrounge recs for both, I just don't know what you want.
