I think the most annoying thing about vacuuming (apart from the way it reminds me that I am weak and feeble. And unfit. Ow) is the way the first room you do suddenly looks so much better and you realise, damn, I really do have to do all of them!

The animals would be quite happy if we never vacuumed at all. The dogs leave the room at the first alarming noise and tonight, the cat was watching with great wariness from the desk and as soon I started vacuuming underneath the desk, he was out of there!

He didn't manage to move as fast as these kitties though. *is amused*

Vaccuming is the pits, especially as it's never ending. If I don't do it daily the carpet turns the same colour as the cats.

Oh yes, the pale tiles show all the dark hair from the cattle dog and the dark rugs show all the pale hair from all three. We can't win! Aghh.

Hee, isn't it? It was a very appropriate day to find it, I felt.

I'd to vacuum today, it's really one of the most dreary household chores!

Lancecat isn't the least bit afraid of the vacuum cleaner though. I have to prod him with it to get him to move out of the way :-)

Ugh, yes. And it never ends!

I'm picturing that and cracking up. I don't think we've even had an animal that blase about vacuums. This lot aren't even sure about brooms.
